In fact, all apps displayed on our virtual shelves go through a rigorous evaluation process to ensure quality.

Essentially, it holds the top-selling apps on a pedestal, while keeping smaller or newer apps invisible and off the charts; this makes it nearly impossible for many developers to get their apps noticed.
