TheAppShelf
Refund Policy
This policy explains how refunds are handled for TheAppShelf digital products, including downloadable Windows apps and related customer files.
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Where a TheAppShelf product is advertised with a 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee, you may request a refund within 14 days from the date of purchase.
If you purchase the product, try it and decide that it is not right for you, you may request a refund during this 14-day period.
This voluntary guarantee applies in addition to any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection laws.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund under an applicable 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee, please contact:
Email: support@theappshelf.com
Please include:
- The email address used for your purchase.
- The name of the product.
- Your order or transaction number, if available.
- A short note confirming that you are requesting a refund.
Requests made under the voluntary 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee must be submitted within 14 days of the purchase date.
Purchases Processed Through JVZoo
Where your purchase was processed through JVZoo, the transaction is recorded through the JVZoo purchase system.
You may contact TheAppShelf using the support details above to request a refund. You may also use the refund or order-support options made available through JVZoo for your transaction.
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed through the applicable purchase and payment system associated with the original transaction.
Technical Problems
If you have trouble downloading, installing or using your purchase, you are welcome to contact us for assistance.
We can assist with issues such as:
- Your download link is missing or not working.
- You cannot access your purchased customer files.
- You need help extracting the ZIP file.
- You see a Windows SmartScreen message and need installation guidance.
- The downloaded file appears incomplete or corrupted.
- You believe you received the wrong customer file.
- You have a reasonable question about installing or using the purchased app.
You are not required to request technical assistance before using an applicable 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee.
Requests Made After 14 Days
The voluntary 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee ends 14 days after the date of purchase.
A change-of-mind refund is not normally available under our voluntary guarantee after this period.
However, the 14-day period does not exclude, restrict or replace any consumer rights or remedies that may apply under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
After a Refund
Once a refund has been issued, your licence to continue using the refunded software ends.
You should stop using the application and delete copies of the refunded software and customer download package from your computers and storage devices.
Graphics or other content that you legitimately created and exported with the software before the refund do not need to be deleted unless otherwise required by the applicable product licence.
Before You Purchase
Please read the product description, system requirements and included-file information before purchasing.
TheAppShelf currently offers downloadable Windows software. Individual product pages explain the operating-system and computer requirements that apply to each app.
If you are unsure whether your computer is suitable for a product, please contact us before purchasing.
Windows SmartScreen Messages
Some Windows computers may show a standard Microsoft SmartScreen message the first time an application from an independent developer is opened.
The customer download includes installation guidance explaining what to do if this message appears.
Only install TheAppShelf software from the official download provided following your purchase.
Duplicate or Incorrect Purchases
Please contact us as soon as possible if you believe that you:
- Purchased the same product more than once.
- Were charged incorrectly.
- Purchased the wrong TheAppShelf product by mistake.
We will review the transaction and determine the appropriate action.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
Under Australian Consumer Law, consumers may be entitled to a remedy where a product does not meet applicable consumer guarantees.
Depending on the circumstances and the nature of the problem, an available remedy may include repair, replacement or refund.
These rights apply independently of TheAppShelf's voluntary 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee.
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you experience a problem with a purchase, please contact TheAppShelf first so that we have an opportunity to review and resolve the matter.
This does not affect any rights you may have through the payment provider, JVZoo, your card provider or applicable consumer law.
Policy Updates
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
The refund guarantee advertised for a product at the time of purchase will apply to that purchase, together with any rights provided by applicable law.
