TheAppShelf
Refund Policy
This policy explains how refunds are handled for TheAppShelf digital products, including downloadable Windows apps and customer files.
Digital Product Refunds
TheAppShelf sells digital products, including downloadable Windows apps, ZIP files, PDF guides and related digital customer files.
Because digital products can be accessed and downloaded immediately after purchase, we generally do not offer refunds simply because a customer changes their mind, purchases the wrong product, no longer wants the product, or did not check the system requirements before buying.
This does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
When We Will Help
If you have trouble downloading, opening or using your purchase, please contact support. We will make reasonable efforts to help you access the product and resolve the issue.
For example, we can help if:
- Your download link is missing or not working.
- You cannot find your purchase email.
- You need help extracting the ZIP file.
- You see a Windows SmartScreen message and need installation guidance.
- The downloaded file appears incomplete or corrupted.
- You believe you received the wrong file.
Refunds for Product Problems
If a product has a major problem, is not as described, or cannot be accessed after reasonable support attempts, we will assess the issue and may offer an appropriate remedy. This may include a replacement file, updated download link, technical support, or a refund where required by law.
We may ask for reasonable information to help us investigate the issue, such as:
- Your order email address.
- Your order number, if available.
- The app name and version number.
- Your Windows version.
- A screenshot of any error or warning message.
- A short explanation of what happened.
Before You Purchase
Please read the product description, system requirements and included file information before purchasing.
Pin Traffic Studio is currently designed for Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers. It is not currently a Mac, iPad, iPhone, Chromebook or Android app.
Windows SmartScreen Messages
Some Windows computers may show a standard SmartScreen message the first time you open a new app from an independent developer. This does not automatically mean the app is unsafe.
Your download includes installation guidance explaining how to continue if you see this message. Only install files downloaded from your official TheAppShelf purchase email, customer account or download page.
