TheAppShelf Partner Program

Affiliate Terms & Conditions

These Affiliate Terms & Conditions explain the rules for participating in the TheAppShelf Affiliate Program and promoting TheAppShelf products.

1. About the Affiliate Program

TheAppShelf Affiliate Program allows approved affiliates to promote eligible TheAppShelf digital products and earn commissions on qualifying referred sales.

TheAppShelf uses JVZoo to manage affiliate applications, tracking, product-specific commission settings and affiliate payments for participating products.

By applying for or promoting a TheAppShelf product through JVZoo, you agree to these Affiliate Terms & Conditions as well as the applicable JVZoo terms, Affiliate Agreement and platform policies.

2. Affiliate Approval

Affiliate approval may be required separately for each TheAppShelf product offered through JVZoo. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.

TheAppShelf may approve or reject a promotion request based on the affiliate's promotional history, audience, marketing methods, account information and suitability for the product.

Affiliate access may also be restricted, suspended or terminated in accordance with these terms and applicable JVZoo rules.

3. Commission Rate

Affiliate commission rates are set individually for each TheAppShelf product and are shown in the applicable JVZoo product or affiliate information.

For example, Pin Traffic Studio currently offers a 50% affiliate commission on qualifying sales.

Commission rates may vary by product, promotion, affiliate, campaign or future program update. The rate shown in JVZoo for the applicable offer at the time of the qualifying transaction will apply.

4. Tracking and Referral Links

Affiliates must use the official JVZoo affiliate link provided for the specific TheAppShelf product they are approved to promote.

Qualifying referrals, sales and commissions are tracked through JVZoo according to the applicable JVZoo tracking system and product settings.

TheAppShelf cannot guarantee commission credit where a referral cannot be correctly attributed because of an incorrect or broken affiliate link, tracking restrictions, browser or device settings, blocked cookies or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

5. Eligible Sales

A sale may be eligible for commission when:

  • The customer clicks your approved affiliate link.
  • The purchase is attributed to the affiliate through JVZoo under the applicable tracking rules.
  • The order is paid, valid and not fraudulent.
  • The order is not refunded, charged back or cancelled.
  • The affiliate has followed these terms and all applicable laws.

6. Reversed or Cancelled Commissions

Commissions may be reversed, cancelled or withheld for reasons including:

  • Refunded orders.
  • Chargebacks or payment disputes.
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity.
  • Self-referrals or unauthorised purchases through your own link.
  • Misleading promotion or false claims.
  • Violation of these Affiliate Terms & Conditions.
  • Sharing or distributing TheAppShelf customer files.

7. Affiliate Payments

Affiliate commissions and payment timing are handled according to the applicable JVZoo payment method, product settings, affiliate status and JVZoo platform rules.

Payment availability may be affected by refund periods, chargebacks, fraud checks, delayed-payment settings, account verification or other conditions applied through JVZoo.

Affiliates are responsible for maintaining accurate and valid payment and account information within their JVZoo account.

8. Taxes and Reporting

Affiliates are responsible for their own taxes, business registrations, reporting obligations, invoices, accounting records and any fees or charges connected to receiving affiliate payments.

TheAppShelf does not provide tax, legal or accounting advice to affiliates.

9. Required Affiliate Disclosure

Affiliates must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship wherever required by applicable law or platform rules. The disclosure should be clear, conspicuous and placed where the audience can reasonably notice it before or at the time the endorsement or affiliate link is presented.

Examples of clear disclosure wording include:

  • “This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link.”
  • “Affiliate link: I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.”
  • “I may receive a commission if you buy through this link.”

Do not hide disclosures at the bottom of a page, in tiny text, behind a link, or in a place where a normal viewer would not notice them.

10. Honest Promotion

Affiliates must promote TheAppShelf products honestly and accurately.

You must not make false, exaggerated or misleading claims about:

  • Product features.
  • Product results.
  • Pinterest traffic, rankings, clicks or sales.
  • Income, business success or guaranteed outcomes.
  • Discounts, bonuses or offers that are not officially approved.
  • Compatibility with devices or platforms not supported by the product.

11. No Traffic, Sales or Income Guarantees

TheAppShelf products are tools intended to help customers create, organise, design or prepare digital content. They do not guarantee traffic, clicks, Pinterest rankings, sales, income, followers, engagement or business success.

Affiliates must not suggest or imply that a customer is guaranteed to get results by purchasing or using a TheAppShelf product.

12. Pinterest and Third-Party Platforms

Pin Traffic Studio helps users create Pinterest-style images and prepare publishing text for manual Pinterest upload. It does not automatically publish pins, log in for customers, schedule pins, connect to Pinterest as an official publishing tool, or guarantee Pinterest traffic, clicks or sales.

Affiliates must not describe Pin Traffic Studio as an automatic Pinterest publisher, scheduler, traffic generator or official Pinterest integration.

13. No File Sharing or Reselling

Affiliates may not share, upload, resell, copy, distribute or give away TheAppShelf app files, ZIP downloads, installers, PDF guides, license files, customer documents or other paid materials.

Affiliates may only share approved promotional links, screenshots, product descriptions, banners or other marketing materials that TheAppShelf provides or allows.

14. No Self-Referrals

Affiliates may not use their own affiliate link to purchase products for themselves, family members, business partners or related accounts unless TheAppShelf gives written permission.

Self-referral commissions may be reversed or withheld.

15. No Spam

Affiliates must not promote TheAppShelf through spam, unsolicited bulk emails, fake accounts, misleading messages, unrelated groups, comment spam, direct-message spam, bots or other abusive promotion methods.

Affiliates must follow the rules of any platform where they promote TheAppShelf products.

16. Paid Advertising

Affiliates may not run paid ads using TheAppShelf brand names, product names, domain names, misspellings or confusingly similar terms without written permission.

Affiliates may not create ads that appear to be official TheAppShelf ads unless approved in writing.

17. Coupons, Discounts and Bonuses

Affiliates may not advertise coupons, discounts, bonuses or special offers unless they are officially provided or approved by TheAppShelf.

Do not claim that a discount is available if it is expired, unofficial, fake or not connected to your affiliate link.

18. Brand Use

Affiliates may use TheAppShelf names, product names and approved product images only for honest promotion of TheAppShelf products.

Affiliates may not claim to be TheAppShelf, impersonate TheAppShelf, register domains or social accounts that look official, or use TheAppShelf branding in a confusing or misleading way.

19. Reviews and Testimonials

If affiliates publish reviews, tutorials or testimonials, they must be honest and based on genuine experience or accurate product information.

Affiliates must not invent testimonials, fake customer results, fake screenshots, fake earnings, fake Pinterest results or misleading case studies.

20. Product Changes

TheAppShelf may update products, prices, features, sales pages, checkout pages, download files, documentation, product names and promotional materials at any time.

Affiliates are responsible for keeping their promotional content reasonably accurate and updating outdated claims when needed.

21. Affiliate Program Changes

TheAppShelf may update product commission rates, approval requirements, eligible products, promotional rules and these Affiliate Terms from time to time. JVZoo may also update its own platform settings, policies and affiliate requirements independently.

Continued participation in the affiliate program after updates means you accept the updated terms.

22. Suspension or Termination

TheAppShelf may withdraw or suspend an affiliate's permission to promote one or more TheAppShelf products if we reasonably believe the affiliate has violated these terms, harmed customer trust, misused the brand, engaged in suspicious activity or promoted a product in a misleading or inappropriate way.

If an affiliate is removed for violating these terms, unpaid commissions may be reviewed, reversed or withheld where appropriate and in accordance with applicable JVZoo rules.

23. Relationship Between Parties

Affiliates are independent promoters. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, franchise or joint venture relationship between the affiliate and TheAppShelf.

Affiliates are not authorised to make promises, guarantees or commitments on behalf of TheAppShelf.

24. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheAppShelf is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss connected with participation in the affiliate program.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
