TheAppShelf

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use explain the rules for using TheAppShelf.com, purchasing digital products, and using TheAppShelf downloadable apps and customer files.

1. About TheAppShelf

TheAppShelf provides downloadable digital products, including Windows desktop apps, customer ZIP files, PDF guides, templates, support materials and related digital resources.

By using this website, purchasing a product, downloading customer files, or using a TheAppShelf app, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Digital Products

TheAppShelf products are supplied as digital downloads. After purchase, you may receive access to one or more files, such as a Windows installer, ZIP file, PDF guide, license terms and version notes.

You are responsible for checking the product description, system requirements and included file information before purchasing.

3. Windows App Requirements

Some TheAppShelf apps, including Pin Traffic Studio, are designed for Windows computers. Unless a product page clearly states otherwise, our Windows apps are not designed for Mac, iPad, iPhone, Chromebook or Android devices.

You are responsible for making sure your device meets the product requirements before purchasing.

4. Installation and Security Messages

Some Windows computers may show a standard SmartScreen or security message the first time you open a new app from an independent developer. If this happens, follow the included Installation Guide.

Only install files downloaded from your official TheAppShelf purchase email, customer account or download page. Do not install files from unknown websites, file-sharing links or unofficial groups.

5. License to Use Purchased Apps

When you purchase a TheAppShelf app, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the app for your own personal or business use, subject to the product license terms included with your purchase.

Unless a product license states otherwise, you may use images, exports or content you create with the app for your own business, products, marketing, Pinterest content, blog posts, promotional graphics or internal projects.

6. What You May Not Do

You may not:

  • Resell, share, upload or redistribute the app installer, ZIP file or customer download files.
  • Claim TheAppShelf apps, templates, files or guides as your own software product.
  • Sell, rent, sublicense or transfer your download access to another person.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, modify or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
  • Use the website or products for unlawful, harmful, misleading or abusive purposes.
  • Upload TheAppShelf customer files to public file-sharing sites, marketplaces or groups.

7. Pinterest and Third-Party Platforms

Pin Traffic Studio helps you create Pinterest-style images and prepare publishing text for manual Pinterest upload. It does not automatically publish pins, log in for you, schedule pins, connect to Pinterest as an official publishing tool, or guarantee Pinterest traffic, clicks, rankings or sales.

Pinterest and other third-party platforms are separate services. You are responsible for following the terms, policies and rules of any third-party platform you use.

8. Product Results and No Guarantees

TheAppShelf products are tools intended to help with design, organisation, content creation and digital workflows. We do not guarantee that using any product will result in traffic, sales, rankings, income, followers, engagement or business success.

Your results depend on many factors, including your niche, content, offer, platform use, marketing, consistency and audience.

9. Downloads and Customer Access

After purchase, you are responsible for downloading and keeping a backup copy of your customer files. If you lose access to your download, contact support and include the email address used for the purchase.

We may update, replace or remove old product files from time to time. Access to future updates is not guaranteed unless the product page or purchase terms specifically state that updates are included.

10. Refunds and Support

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy and any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

If you have trouble downloading, installing or using a product, contact support so we can help investigate the issue.

11. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms of Use is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection laws.

If a product or service does not meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy required by law.

12. Website Content

The content on this website is provided for general information about TheAppShelf products. We aim to keep information accurate and current, but we may update product pages, prices, descriptions, features and availability at any time.

If a product page contains an error, we may correct it. If the error affects your purchase, contact support.

13. Prices and Payments

Product prices are displayed on the website or checkout page. Prices may change from time to time. A price change does not affect orders already completed unless required by law.

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. TheAppShelf does not directly store your full payment card details.

14. Account and Order Information

You are responsible for providing accurate purchase information, including your email address. If you enter the wrong email address during checkout, contact support as soon as possible.

You are responsible for keeping any customer account login details secure.

15. Intellectual Property

TheAppShelf name, branding, website content, app interfaces, downloadable files, guides, product materials and related assets are owned by TheAppShelf or used with permission.

Purchasing a product gives you a license to use that product according to the included license terms. It does not transfer ownership of the app, files, templates, guides or brand assets to you.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheAppShelf is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or products.

This does not limit any rights, remedies or guarantees that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The version published on this website applies when you use the website or purchase a product, unless otherwise required by law.
